History
1992 DR. Mohammed Saied AlGhamdi started the idea of the joint program for postgraduate medical education in family and community medicine , very soon he got the cooperation from Mistry of health(MOH) , King Abdul-Aziz University (KAU) , National Guard health affairs (NG) and Ministry of Defense and Aviation Health affairs (MODA) and he started the Arab Board for post graduate program of family and community medicine. They called it The Joint Program of family and community medicine (JPFCM Jeddah)

And the Arab Board Community Medicine Program was the only program in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia till 2009
1996 Started the Saudi Board of Family Medicine.
2004 Started the Joint Program of Family medicine in Mecca with cooperative work of our JPFCM Jeddah
